CHAPTER TWO: NEW FACES, NEW DANGERS

<CrimsonFang-desu> "Damn! This bear is too tough!" Bear swipes paw and lands a hit on Komori's face causing sharp pain to echo throughout her body. She then howls out in pain.

<WyldWerewolf> Dakota tilted her head to the side, frowning. "How to howl..." Blythe chuckled, "You have to feel it in your chest, and your heart."

<inutsukisister> Essence listened, perking her ears and gave them a bewildered expression. "How do you feel it in your chest?"

<wolfdemonlover1> Kara backed away from Essence a little seeing how she frightened back from her " Um just suck in a deep breath and let your feelings all flow out, is how I would describe it,,," she stated as she watched them.

<CrimsonFang-desu> "Damn! This fight is getting me nowhere! I've been tracking the scent of the other wolves but this stupid bear ended up finding me!" The bear swipes its paw and ends up hitting Komori straight in the face causing pain to shoot up and down through her body. "Augh!" She then howls out loudly in pain.

<WyldWerewolf> Dakota and Blythe nodded. It was harder to explain than they thought it would be. They tilted their heads as they caught the sound of a howl. "Was that you?"

<inutsukisister> To experiment she had tilted her head as well and tried producing a howl, though before she could let out a sound, another howl--distant yet audible took its place.

<wolfdemonlover1> Kara pricked her ears swiveling them on her head before she turned her head to a specific direction then looked back to Dakota and Blythe "We should go, would anyone at the den be mad if we brought home another wolf?"

<CrimsonFang-desu> "I...must...find the other wolves..." she whispers. Komori then attempts to limp further away from the bear. "I must stride on...." She then let out an even louder howl in attempt to have others come help.

<WyldWerewolf> Dakota and Blythe turned towards each other and then back at Kara. "I'm pretty sure that Jaxon will not object to it. Besides, the more the merrier?" Dakota grinned, standing and padding towards the sound. Blythe stood and followed his sister, shaking his head at her.

<inutsukisister> Essence made a swift gait along her newfound friends. She kept her head low and strained her ears to listen. "Is that...another one? Let's go get them!"

<15MidNightWolf81> Midnight dashed out of the trees and joined her friends, "Hello!" she sniffed the air, with a puzzled look on her face "Who is that?" she could smell a new wolf among them.

<wolfdemonlover1> Kara Ran to Midnight and gave her a nuzzle to her side "We have yet to find out Midnight. Hopefully it's someone all of us can bond to..."

<CrimsonFang-desu> "Help – someone....please..." She then falls unconscious on the spot.

<WyldWerewolf> Dakota and Blythe reached the new wolf quickly. As they say her lay on the ground, they charged at the bear, almost in perfect unison. They each took out and upper arm, waiting for the others to join in.

<inutsukisister> Essence's legs shook when she heard the sound of a giant roar echoing through the trees, but something deeper and protective unfurled in her gut that forced her to move on. She ran quick and came to the fallen wolf and the giant bear attack. Snarling, she leapt went for one of his forelegs gnawing at his skin.

<15MidNightWolf81> Midnight took one long leap, she landed on the bears shoulders, and she began to bite as his neck. "You're going down bear!" she snarled

<wolfdemonlover1> Kara arrived upon the scene and found a bear trying to maw her friend's she felt anger and jumped on the bear, she landed with her belly hanging a bit past it's lower jaw with a large chunk of skin and the ear in her jaws, she started pushing against it's face and eyes with her claws and trying to shake her head to cut of the chunk of flesh in her jaws.

<CrimsonFang-desu> Komori woke up to see other wolves surrounding the bear. "Who are you?"

<WyldWerewolf> Blythe dropped from the bears arm, snapping instead at its legs. Dakota fell as the bear swung its arm, throwing her against a tree. She yelped as her side connected with the tree. "Spirit's Bless!" she groaned as she stood up.

<inutsukisister> Essence was holding tightly with her jaws, breaking some skin as a droplet of blood poured. The bear noticed and in his rage flung her off his arm. She managed to twirl in the air, lithely, and land on all four legs. She looked at the confused wolf and said, "We're here to help" and went back at the bear.

<15MidNightWolf81> With one swing of the head, the bear flung Midnight off of his neck. She hit the ground with a loud thud. She was breathing heavily. "W-what just happened?" she could not stand up.

<wolfdemonlover1> Dakota and Midnight were thrown from the bear which only succeeded in making Kara madder, she growled loudly through her teeth and pulled hard and managed to rip the ear and hunk of flesh around the ear of as she fell backward off the side of the bears head, at which the bear noticed and put its paw on her chest and started pressing, while blood dripped from its head and drizzled slightly from its forepaw.

<CrimsonFang-desu> Komori looked up at the other wolves attempting to stop the bear and whispers, "I...should repay my debt..." She uses dimensional portal to transport the bear into alternate dimension. "I should have....done...this earlier..." She lays her head down.

<WyldWerewolf> Blythe yelped as he fell to the ground with a soft thump. He looked around, frowning. "What in the Spirit's name just happened there?" He asked. Dakota raised her head and frowned. Did she miss something while she had been flying through the air and then hitting the ground?

<inutsukisister> Essence was confused as well, licking the blood from her chops, muzzle still wrinkled. In a stern walk, she went over to Midnight and snorted. "Are you okay?"

<15MidNightWolf81> "I-I can't walk" she tried to stand and stumbled into the grass again

<wolfdemonlover1> Hearing Midnight's words Kara rushed over to her running not inches from Essence. As she did so, Kara got beside Midnight and tried to help her up by giving her a body to lean on, Kara also put her head down under Midnight's chest and helped to lift her with her muzzle.

<CrimsonFang-desu> "Glad that's finally over...." Komori attempts to get up and instantly sits back down and looks over at the other wolves. "Now, if you all don't mind...why did you come? You guys barely know me..."

<WyldWerewolf> Dakota padded over slowly, her ears still ringing. "We came because you were in trouble." she replied, "Besides; you don't to know someone to help them out." Blythe was torn between helping Midnight or sitting with his sister and this new wolf, but decided to help the black and white wolf first. "Are you going to be alright?"

<inutsukisister> Essence backed up, giving the wounded wolf some air as she needed hers. The taste of the fresh blood, though it wasn't much, made her react angrily and hungry...

<15MidNightWolf81> Midnight looked up at the wolves looking down at her, "I-I don't know, thank you Kara" she was trying not to put too much weight on her friend. "Should I try to walk?"

<wolfdemonlover1> Kara just let Midnight rest and lay beside her and whined "What is wrong with you Midnight, Where do you hurt?" Kara asked concerned.

<CrimsonFang-desu> Komori walks over to Essence and stares. "You're not a regular wolf are you? What happened?" Komori starts sniffing Essence. "You smell more human...were you with the humans before?"

<WyldWerewolf> Blythe whined softly as he knelt next to Midnight, "Are you sure you'll be fine? That bear really did a number on you." Dakota frowned at the mention of humans. "Great Spirits, what are these humans, and what's so bad about them?" she snorted.

<inutsukisister> Essence licked her lips, blood slightly dripping. She glanced at Komori and nodded. "All my life..." she replied, regaining her composure.

<15MidNightWolf81> "I think I'm ok" she stumbled to her feet, and began to walk. "Ah, I need some water, but I want to be alone, for a little while, it's nothing personal" she jogged off to the lake

<wolfdemonlover1> Kara stayed lying on the ground and watched Midnight leave, but a scent caught her nose on the wind, there was another wolf on their kill.

<CrimsonFang-desu> "Humans are scarce where I'm from. They have been running from the demons where I live. I'm used to fighting but...I have been weakened lately..." Komori glanced down at her paws which were covered in blood of hers and the bears. "My strength has waned, like the phases of the moon..." She said as she looked up to see clouds clearing from the sky and revealing a full moon. "What's wrong with her?" Komori tilted her head while looking off.

<WyldWerewolf> Dakota frowned. No one would answer her question about the humans. She padded over to Blythe and lay down next to him. He looked down and licked her on the forehead. "Something wrong, my sister?" he asked. Dakota shook her head, laying her head on her paws.

<inutsukisister> Essence picked up her nose and looked to the other wolves. "Did someone say another wolf was on our kill?"

<15MidNightWolf81> Midnight began to lap up the cool blue water, when she heard a sound, she turned and leaped. Then she found herself looking into big green eyes. It was a wolf. "You thought you could sneak up on me like that, huh, you 'sneaky sneaky' wolf you?" she barked "Who are you and what is your business here" she snapped. He looked up at her, she was so pretty! He managed to speak "I-I am Mason" he said in an unsure tone. "I have simply come for a drink of water" he lied, to protect himself. She let him up. "What is this?" she looked down and touched his necklace with her nose. In a moment of fear and anger he tackled her to the ground. "NEVER touch my necklace!" he growled in a low deep tone. He let her up and started to walk away without a word. Midnight began to chase after him. "Hello? Just because you think, just because you tackled me back there, means that you could just leave?" "I must go now he said in a soft tone."

<wolfdemonlover1> Kara stood her hackles rising in a snarl "I just caught a scent of it on the wind......." she stated as she took off.

<WyldWerewolf> Dakota and Blythe turned their noses towards direction of the scent. "Who's that?" Blythe stood, assuming a slight guarding position over his sister. Dakota frowned as she glanced up at her bother. 'What a pain he can be,' she thought, standing.

<inutsukisister> Essence picked along the trail, her fur bristling. "Let's go see...." she said darkly, and then remembered she didn't know anything about the wild and became hesitant, pausing in her tracks.

<15MidNightWolf81> Midnight watched as the new wolf left from her sight. She liked him, but she was not sure why. "Hmm what a strange, wolf" then she noticed, that he was from the Fog pack, but not by blood.

<WyldWerewolf> Blythe padded in front of Essence, taking the lead; though he knew he wasn't Alpha. Dakota waited for Essence to follow before following herself. Essence needed the experience and with one 'wild' wolf behind and one in front, they should be able to help Essence grow to know the wild as they did.

<inutsukisister> Essence took a moment to understand for a moment. At first she thought they were going to corner her, but when she recognized the gentle expressions the sibling's faces she became calm and padded along with them heading towards their kill.
Midnight: Midnight dashed to the others catching up with them, hoping that they would not smell Mason on her fur, "Shall we eat?" she asked Blythe

<WyldWerewolf>Dakota wagged her tail, glad to see Midnight was alright, but Blythe was a little more hesitant. "Sure," he nodded, sniffing the air around the kill before taking a bite. She smelt of another wolf, but didn't want to alarm the others. He'd ask her about it later.

<inutsukisister> They may have known the laws of not asking unless spoken to, but Essence did know wolven law. Cocking her ears before she dug into the fallen animal she asked Midnight, "Why do you smell weird?"

<15MidNightWolf81> She looked up at Essence in shock, "Umm, I will tell you when we get back to the den." She dug her teeth into fresh meat

<WyldWerewolf> Dakota raised an eyebrow, but didn't comment on Midnight's answer or Essence's question. She dug into the meat with a renewed spirit. Blythe, however wouldn't let it slide once the question was out, "Who was it? Someone you know?"

<inutsukisister> Essence was busy burying her muzzle into the flesh and pulled it out once Blythe began speaking. Her chest lifted when she realized she had someone on her side.

<15MidNightWolf81> "No, I didn't know him, but..." her words tailed off for a moment. "It's nothing to worry about; it's just someone I saw down at the lake"

<WyldWerewolf> Dakota glared at her brother from across the animal. "Really, Blythe, you're going to play this game?" she muttered softly, mostly to herself. Blythe's ear twitched towards his sister, but he ignored her. "You didn't invite him to join us, then?"

<inutsukisister> Seeing as how this was turning bad, Essence's patience was running thin once again as she felt the fresh blood trickle down her throat. Turning on Blythe she snarled, not too severely but gentle enough to make him stop.

<15MidNightWolf81> "He had to leave" she looked over at Blythe, "I am sorry, I should not have talked to him in the first place"

<WyldWerewolf> Blythe turned to face Essence, flattening his ears against his head. "Sorry," he mumbled and dug into the meat, not looking her in the eye. Dakota rolled her icy blue eyes and sighed. "Sorry about that Midnight. He can get a bit testy sometimes."

<inutsukisister> Running her tongue along her teeth and went back to eating. She didn't know what was wrong with herself, whenever she had fresh blood it made her enraged and prone to fight more. She ate the fallen prey, noticing it tasting different than the food giving to her all her life. It was cooked, no blood permitted at all. She suddenly wondered if this was on purpose. She kept ravaging the food eyes forward.

<15MidNightWolf81> Midnight was full; she backed away from the kill, and then sat down. "I should go to the lake and wash the smell of Mason out of my fur"
